It’s that time again! The second Saturday of the month: a day dedicated to Nashville’s Rope Bondage Community!

RING is 18 and older and open to all consent-minded adults, regardless of CPI membership. Please bring a Valid ID or CPI Membership Card

This month marks the first return to standard RING since the beginning of the Pandemic. We’re super excited to offer RING attendance at $5 a person with all proceeds going to The Mark by CPI.

March RING Topics

Open Rope
A return to an open rope space

With RING just returning to its regular schedule, we want to facilitate an open rope space for those who have spent the pandemic without the space, means, or equipment to practice Shibari at their full skill level. Hardpoints will be preset in socially distance increments, with plenty of space for general skill-sharing and socializing too! If you’re past the basics, but want more instruction, Virgil will be willing to do an impromptu skill-share session.
This is NOT the time to have a scene! This is the time to practice for a scene!

Rope Bondage Basics – Nurse Jane
The best way to start your Rope Journey

Jane will host our regular Bondage Basics this month and instructing on all the fundamental aspects on rope bondage! She will be presenting all the safety information you need to start your Rope Journey. You’ll learn the tying foundations for everything Shibari, that can be used at all levels of Rope Interest. This course is held in the classroom simultaneous to open rope
We have class rope if you do not have your own!

Covid-19 Tying
Limitations in a pandemic

Masks are required at all times during RING. Rope bondage can be a physically-intense experience from top to bottom. Be aware of this and the difficulty of active-exercise during a rope practice session while masked. Hyperventilation, sweat, and non-verbal communication complicate binding while masking up. Tie below your physical limits to ensure the safety of yourself, your partner, and all RING attendees.

Join RING (Rope Interest Nashville Group)  for our rope workshop this month!

Please review our current pandemic policies and protocols here.

Pandemic Protocols for In-Person Events

  • Attendees must register ahead of time and pay the registration fee in advance. (No refunds will be provided for no-shows.)
  • Registration will be first-come-first-served.
  • At the time of registration, you will be asked to select an arrival time to better limit queuing outside the front door. If you arrive earlier than your reservation time, please wait in your car until it is your time to approach the front door. Please try not to be later than your designated arrival time; but if you are, wait at the back of the line — if there is one — don’t attempt to cut ahead.
  • You will be required to wear a facemask during your entire visit to The Mark, starting when you set foot on the ramp to the front door.
Upon entering and before being allowed past the front lobby, one of our medical advocates will take your forehead temperature with a contactless thermometer and ask you the basic COVID-19 screening questions.
  • Chairs are prearranged per the MPHD-approved floor plan and may not be moved — except if you bring your own wheelchair.
  • Outside food or drink will be not allowed.
  • The outdoor smoking deck is closed.
  • Please pay attention and follow any staff instruction and informational signage!

And Please…

Although we believe that we can reopen safely with the rules above, we ask those 65 years of age and older and those with the following medical conditions to carefully consider the potential health impacts of their attendance, as the CDC identifies folks in these categories to be at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19:

  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • Immuno-compromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant
  • Obesity (BMI – Body Mass Index – of 30 or higher)
  • Serious heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • (The list of the known/recognized “at risk” underlying medical conditions, as well as those conditions that “might cause increased risk” for severe illness from COVID-19 can be found here.)

By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people are present. By attending this event, you and any in your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Community Perspectives Inc. (CPI) or any of its affiliates, directors, management, staff, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

Payment will show on PayPal to Community Perspectives, Inc. Prices include PayPal service fees.
